Drive Club PS Plus Edition is Dead

It's not gonna happen.

Sony execs were asked about it this weekend, and they said they can't promise that it will ever come out. Which is saying, it won't ever come out.

I feel duped, and I feel like I was tricked into renewing PS Plus.

Vita's Birthday

Today is the Vita's 3rd birthday. So they're having a sale for the "essential" games.

And it ain't pretty. Well the game is. That was widely accepted.
But just about every major site agrees.

Though that last one is skewed 'cause Giantbomb uses 5 stars. So 2/5 stars doesn't seem quite so awful.Plus Jeff's review is mostly positive, he just says to rent it instead of buying it.

Everyone says, hands down the best looking game they've ever seen. It's just a straight forward cover based third person shooter. And it's short. Some leaked complete gameplays turned up on youtube last week showing people beating the game in like 4 hours or less. 100% completion was like 6-8 hours.

To be honest, it all sounds fine to me. I want a AAA looking game that I can actually have time to finish. Screw you Dragon Age and your 100+ hours. I'm a dad dangit!

I can't wait to try it out.

PS Plus Rant Redaction AE

I take back PART of what I said before about PS Plus sales. The new list just dropped while I was typing the last one, and there are a bunch of PS Plus sales. Nothing crazy like 80% off, but they're on 2014s biggest titles, most of which you already own or have played. Child of Light is $6. I may try that out.
